A look at Valdis Ronis's opponent

Remember when I did that resolution for Loudoun Times Mirror? Well Ralph Buona did one too. His is the unfortunate still-frame that YouTube used.

Uh...yeah. Ralph Buona's creepy eyes? Yet another reason, if you needed one, to vote for Valdis Ronis.

  1. The still frame isn't half as creepy as his actual video! What on Earth is going on to his left?

  2. I bet Bouna was looking at his life coach, David D'Onofrio and his "Que" cards to say on message. Does anyone else think the intro music, the Casey Group used for their cooperative Times segment is just creepy ? Not to mention the really creepy frame up to the actual segment, why would they use the vantage point of panning up the tripod?

  3. Ralph's bit starts at 1:47.

I thought he might be glancing at cue-cards, but if you (can stand to) watch long enough, he ends up looking both ways, eventually. Like a person hoping for a way out.

Usually, one must have already served in elected office for a few years before acquiring an expression like that. 8-)

  4. A typical untrustworthy politician- shifty eyes and all! Perhaps WaPo should do a caricature of Buona..??? John wood couldn't be there that day to tell him what to say or how to act -- so this is what we get instead! He only has two issues on his website -- is that all he sees wrong with this county?

Don't know about his opponent, but he can't be as shifty as Buona...can he?

  5. Is that a rug on Ralph's head?

  6. Absolutely hilarious. Just what is Buona looking at? John Wood telling him where he'll be building schools, or I mean what to say.
